About the Host
I’m Chris — a paramedic, offshore medic, and creator of Dispatched & Dysfunctional. Since 2016, I’ve lived the chaos of EMS: ambulance shifts, firehouse nights, offshore emergencies, and the quiet aftermath no one prepares you for.
This podcast was built for the medics, EMTs, firefighters, police, and dispatchers who carry weight home after every shift. It’s for the families who wonder why we shut down after a call, and for anyone who’s ever wondered what really happens after the sirens fade.
Here you’ll get the unfiltered truth: raw stories, dark humor, and real conversations about the job that changes us forever.

This podcast isn’t about fairy tales. It’s about real calls, real chaos, and the medics who survive both.
Dispatched & Dysfunctional — because sometimes the worst calls… make the best stories.
